Spirent TestCenter: How to ARP stream blocks whose endpoints are on the same subnet?
Environment/Versions
Endpoints on the same subnet does not need to go through a gateway to send traffic to each other thus ARP should go directly to the destination instead of the gateway.
Answer
Disable the "Use Gateway as ARP / ND Target" which can be found in Settings under the ARP/ND tab.
Destination MAC Address of a stream with destination IP that is on the same subnet as the source should automatically be used in the traffic.
Eth/IP - automatic
Eth/VLAN/IP - not automatic (need to ARP) - the ARP will send to the Destination IP
Eth/Vlan1/Vlan2/IP - not automatic (need to ARP) - the ARP will send to the Destination IP
