Spirent TestCenter : How to generate packet with Spirent signature field using Custom header.

Answer
  • Add Custom header.Copy the 20 Bytes hex value of signature frame and paste into the customer header
  • Signature field 20 bytes hex value(f97a51ddbe45f3aa358c14c0fe66d66b872ca49b).

NOTE:These bytes have to be the last 20 bytes of the frame being sent. That is it should look like this:Eth (vlan) – IP – other payload- f97a51ddbe45f3aa358c14c0fe66d66b872ca49b – ethernet FCS.
If it’s off by even one byte, then it will not work.
