Spirent TestCenter: Why do I get an error indicating "the device does not have enough space to activate it"?

Environment/Versions
  • Spirent TestCenter Virtual
  • STCv
  • VMWare
  • Unable to modify or update the Spirent Virtual port and activate it.
Answer
  • It appears there are times when the logs take up to much space and needs to be deleted.
  • This is currently only possible by a Spirent representative.
  • CR: 1097900383 is open for this ability to be in the Admin menu.
  • If after deleting the logs, the problem is still occurring, then need to recreate the Spirent virtual VM.
