Abacus: I would like to create a test on analog lines with Path Confirmation taking place not immediately after a call is connected. Is that possible?

Environment/Versions

N/A

Answer

Yes, this is possible.  However, users must make use of AFT (Analog Feature Testing) script to do that.  "To delay the path confirmation, it is required to synchronize the originating and terminating sides in executing the path confirmation action.  On that, regular script is unable to do the job, as it does not synchronize the originating and terminating sides.  With AFT, all the lines in the channel set are subject to the same script and actions, hence  will guarantee the two sides are synchronized during the delay and the path confirmation actions.

Below the general steps in the script:

1. A calls B, DTMF, No Path Confirmation

2. Wait for time (x) seconds

3. Do Path Confirmation for (x) seconds.  Src: B, Dst: A
