STCLive Probe: Why isn't the probe completing the boot up? It pings to the management port but the 7010 TL1 port does not connect.

STCLive Probe 7500C series (1G and 10G modules)
Answer
one possibility is that there is a problem with the serial connection on the 1G or 10G test module.
a 'yelling' connection to the serial port (micro USB connection), can interfere with normal boot of the module
if a serial connection is present (cable connected to the micro USB), try removing it and booting the module again.
