The “Task Summary” area in the Umetrix Database client (as well as the Distribution and Cycles charts) provides statistics regarding the mean throughput for each task. For example, a max HTTP download throughput of 350 kbps signifies that the best-performing task had a mean throughput of 350 kbps. The number of tasks considered is given by the “Complete Cycles” field.
The Histogram chart displays the distribution of the instantaneous throughput measurement within the tasks. These are the measurements that contribute to the mean task throughput values. Keeping this in mind, it makes sense that there will be some Histogram data points at higher levels than the maximum task mean.
