Chances are the user is trying to run SmartWindow on a PC with a Microsoft OS of Windows7. SmartWindow is not natively supported on Windows7, however, you may be able to run in Windows7 if you use the XP Emulation mode in Windows7 or a VMware type of environment.
If you are using native XP on the PC and you are getting an error message, try reloading the SmartWindow application.
