We can trigger HRPD A12 authentication using following steps: 1.Open EV-DO personality window by right-click AN, and then choose Configure EV-DO personality tooltip.
2.In Application Layer tab, choose Default Packet Application (AN) for Stream 1. Note: Here Stream 1 is used as AN stream (e.g. AN Authentication), Stream 2 is used as SN stream (Service Network), and Stream 3 is used for Test Application.
3.Then you can see AN stream comes up during Session Negotiation. Configure A12 NAI and Password if needed. Under CN AAA Server Tab, you can find the entry to configure A12 NAI/Password.
4.As to the three options in AN configuration Tab, they just decide at which time frame A12 Authentication happens.
