a)      Error messages will cause the "Attempted Connect Rate" and "Actual Connect Rate" to vary. Each session Landslide starts contributes to the "Attempted Connect Rate" value. When a session is successfully authenticated by the Landslide test the "Actual Connect Rate" value is adjusted. If a session fails or times out for any reason the "Actual Connect Rate" is not adjusted. This will cause the two measurements to vary. The greater the session failure rate the larger the difference between them.  The "Actual Connect Rate" value is a measure of successful session connections. A session that runs to completion but fails due to an error is not counted as "connected".
